I remember that it was just after midnight and I was, as usual, getting Freaked Out Of My Mind (FOOMM) by the economic insanity I see worsening all around us, and I was soon leaning out of my upstairs window, helpfully yelling (according to videotape evidence), "You're all freaking doomed, you morons! You elected corrupt, socialist scumbag morons who have now spent us into deficit-spending bankruptcy by letting the Federal Reserve create the money that people borrowed (thus creating a debt) so that they could buy Treasury debt! Hahaha! Going into debt to buy a debt! Hahaha!"
My words are a little slurred, but you can clearly hear me say, "Now all that new money is going to show up, not as more inflation in the prices of stocks, not as more inflation in the prices of bonds, not as more inflation in the prices of houses, not as more inflation in the size of governments, but as inflation in consumer prices, which are going to eat you alive! Morons! Hahaha!"
It wasn't long before the police arrived with their usual histrionics, all bullhorns and "Come out with your hands up" crap, which is obviously all part of a government plot to silence the Heroic And Brave Mogambo (HABM) by brute force.
I can't get Jack Crooks at MoneyandMarkets.com to officially comment on my "Mogambo Victim Theory (MVT)" at the hands of government, but he does allow that things are a lot different today, especially as pertains to taxes, as "It was our ancestors' objective to rebel against British rule and escape the burdens of taxation. That was one of the ideas on which America was founded."
Naturally, I am aghast that he is worried about his piddly taxes when my precious right to freedom of speech under the First Amendment is so grievously torn from me, and all I was doing was trying to educate my neighbors by telling them that the Federal Reserve has created so much money and credit since 1997, forcing other central banks around the world to do the same thing to soak up all those dollars, that it created (among other economic monstrosities) a trade balance deficit that is now more than $836 billion a year!
Again I rush to the window and shout "Our current annual trade balance deficit of $836 billion is $8,360 dollars PER YEAR that everybody in this freaking country who has a non-government job is, in effect, sending overseas! Hell, it's $5,760 for EVERYBODY who has a damned job in the whole country, including government workers! Per year! And you think that the value of the dollar is going to go UP when it is being created and thrown away so recklessly? Morons! Hahahaha!"
I see a chorus of people yelling at me "Shut up, Mogambo! Just shut the hell up!", and in the shadows I think I see my family and some other people chanting rhythmically to the police, over and over, almost hypnotically, "Shoot! Shoot him now! We'll all feel better! And how!"
Well, if they don't care about being destroyed by the Federal Reserve, I figure that maybe they WILL care about the assault on the "takings clause" in the Fifth Amendment that forbids the damned government taking people's property from them "without due process of law."
So I yell out, "So you want some uniformed Gestapo pigs just taking your stuff away without your permission, just like the Federal Reserve has taken the buying power of your money away, so that each of your remaining dollars has lost half of its buying power in the last 5 years? Is that what you want, you laughable morons?"
Their silence spoke volumes about how much they would like that, so I knew they were ready for an article from the New York Post titled, "Now They'll Take Your Laptop" by James G. Lakely.
He reports that the Department of Homeland Security goons at airports are already doing this and then lying about it, and, "Congress recently forced the department to admit it has assumed authority to take an air traveler's laptop computer (or any other electronic device) to an undisclosed location for an unspecified time to check for suspicious files - even 'absent individualized suspicion' of wrongdoing."
What!?! Now the DHS can "assume authority" to confiscate random property, at will, for indeterminate periods of time? I mean, how far have we fallen when a bunch of bullies with badges get tired of looking at the X-rayed contents of you and your luggage, and can just "assume authority" to ignore the Constitution and take your stuff? This is madness!
As James Cook of InvestmentRarities.com said about the slimy manipulations in the gold and silver markets, "It makes you sick to your stomach to think such chicanery could be at work here in America."
But at least the soothing protection of gold and silver will make everything alright for those that own it, and will make a nice profit, too, before this is all over! Whee!
