Dear Friend of GATA and Gold: U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, has told journalist Peter Brimelow that the central banks are manipulating the gold market and all sorts of markets besides. Paul's comments came in an interview given in New Hampshire last month and posted today at VDare.com, the Internet site of the an immigration law reform organization for which Brimelow is editor. So the gold manipulation issue has broken into national politics. You can find Brimelow's interview with Paul here: http://www.vdare.com/misc/070912_paul.htm CHRIS POWELL, Secretary/Treasurer Gold Anti-Trust Action Committee Inc.
