The Beginning of the End?

-- Posted Thursday, 10 July 2008 | Digg This ArticleDigg It! | Source: GoldSeek.com

As I was going about my daily studies, having three live TV streams running in the background, I try to rotate between them giving volume equally.  As I turned on CNBC’s jawboning I heard an introduction to Mr. Frank Holmes in a section called “Energy Plays”.

The topic was oil.  He quickly and seemingly unexpectedly switched topics to the most taboo topic of all, Gold.

A rare event these days is to have a manager who is outperforming the markets on CNBC and rarer still to be talking about Gold.  The talking head, after patiently and somewhat caught on her heels listened to his rant tried to turn the topic back to oil and asked; “What’s your best play today?”  With a slight hesitation as he now must repeat himself, he once again stated Gold and some reasons for it.

It’s not often that Gold can gain any exposure on CNBC and today’s may have been a mistake.  This is the first time I have heard this station allow a guest to talk about the money metal as long back as I can remember.

In previous articles I have mentioned that the top will be near as the money honeys are lurking in the Gold pits and Gold is talked about as much as oil is today.  Gold being mentioned today may be the slow and long overdue start of the end for this Gold bull market, but seeing as it was an obvious and quite comical mistake, maybe not.

As time goes by we will see more and more airtime given to the raging Gold bull.

Cheers to the beginning of the end.  Our time is coming and will be beyond anyone’s wildest dreams.  From these levels fortunes will be made from very small amounts of money.  I hope you can join myself and many, but not too many yet, others in this coming wealth building opportunity of a lifetime.

Today’s CNBC video can be found here, and a recent and similar one on Bloomberg can be found here.

Sincerely,

Warren Bevan
