“Phenomenally accurate forecasts”
How would you like to spend Christmas Eve at...Denver International Airport? Unfortunately, that question may not be hypothetical for thousands of travelers currently stranded there by the worst blizzard Colorado’s seen since the huge snowstorm of March ’03. That one was even worse, but at least it didn’t occur just days before Christmas, when the Denver hub becomes pivotal to so many holiday travel plans. This storm will surely deal a blow to the state’s ski resorts, since relatively few vacationers will be able to get to the slopes much before Christmas. I was planning to take the family to Vail tomorrow myself, there to rendezvous for a few days with an old friend and his family who will be at the resort till New Year's. But he’s still stuck in New Jersey, since there are no flights to Denver at the moment, and he probably won’t even get here for another day or two.
Not that I’ll be going anywhere soon myself. I spent the morning digging out my driveway and a few others in the cul-de-sac, but the street itself will need to be plowed before I or any of my neighbors will be able to reach the main road. Most businesses are closed anyway, so it’s not as though we have anywhere to go. Under the circumstances, it’s great to have a Web-based business, since getting to work each morning entails simply rolling out of bed. But anyone who has to drive to Denver or Boulder to get to the office is in for a rough time, since even four-wheel-drive vehicles appear to be slipping and sliding all over the road. My wife was out doing errands when the storm hit yesterday, and although she got home around 2 p.m., the cars immediately behind her got stuck in drifts overnight after U.S. 36 was shut down by police around that time.

London Seminar Firming
A Hidden Pivot seminar in London appears likely, judging from the strong response I’ve received in just the last few days. If you’d be interested in attending a two-day class there, probably sometime in the spring of 2007, please let me know via e-mail, including your contact information. The cost would be $1,500 USD.
