People Are Fed Up With the Status Quo, But is it Too Late?

By Nathan McDonald

Once again, the threat of terror has come to the forefront with the attacks in Belgium by ISIS. This organization seems hell-bent on the death and destruction of Western culture, but unfortunately for them, this will be a difficult and arduous process.

Regardless, it is the reality we live with. It is not something that any freedom-loving citizen wants to see, nor will it be tolerated. Already, there has been a rising group in the West of those who are fed up with the mantra that preaches political correctness, no matter whether it is right or wrong.

Proof of this is shown in the swelling ranks of libertarians, free thinkers, and those who are simply fed up with the nonsense the mainstream media feeds us on a daily basis. Many people are waking up to the fact that if we want change, then we need to be that change and take personal accountability for our actions and our work ethic.

What made the West great in the past is in large part no longer in existence. The hard work of the past has essentially been replaced by a welfare class, strategically put in place over the decades by a ballooning government that covets more and more control over its people. The most sure-fire method of doing this is through programs that make people dependent upon their government – justifying their growth and expansion.

It would be one thing if this growth and expansion came along with prosperity and wealth, but this simply isn't the case. The West has thrown away much of its wealth and replaced it with a stifling debt – a debt that will ultimately be the end of the very system that created it.

Fortunately, as things get worse, there are those who simply can no longer avert their gaze and look away. They are fed up with the status quo and are demanding a reversion to what made the West great once again.

This can be seen in rising political parties that appear to be more and more "politically incorrect," but are in fact just preaching the truth. The rise of Donald Trump in the United States is one such example of this shift in perspective.

His ballooning popularity is being met with fierce resistance from those who have fallen in love with their captors, and those who have become desperately dependant on the "free" handouts that the government provides.

Their main source of disinformation comes from the highly corrupt mainstream media, which is a direct puppet of the Banksters and the political ruling class. They are desperately trying to paint Trump in a negative light, which is only making him more popular, as more and more people have begun to distrust their traditional news outlets.

Whether or not freedom lovers will be able to break out of the mold and get Donald Trump elected in a general election is yet to be seen. Perhaps we have gone too far down the rabbit hole and the West is simply destined for the collapse so many are now prophesying.

Perhaps it is not too late and real change can be achieved in the system. If Trump sticks to what he says and is able to survive long enough in office to make radical changes, then there may yet be hope for the United States.

Regardless of what is to come, real change is on the horizon for better or for worse. Pain will be had no matter which avenue the world travels down. The only difference is, one path leads to light, and one to darkness. Only time will tell if we are smart enough to pick the right one – let’s hope we are.
