The Metals:
Gold fell throughout most of trade and ended near its late session low of $1327.74 with a loss of 1.93%. Silver slipped to as low as $20.503 and ended with a loss of 1.2%.
Euro gold fell to about €961, platinum lost $11 to $1444, and copper climbed a few cents to about $2.99.
Gold and silver equities traded just a little over 1% lower for most of the morning, but they then extended lower after today’s fed announcement and ended with about 4% losses.

The Markets:

Oil pared early gains after the Energy Information Administration reported that crude inventories rose 5.9 million barrels, gasoline inventories fell 1.5 million barrels, and distillates fell 3.1 million barrels.
The U.S. dollar index traded mostly slightly higher before the fed announcement and markedly added to its gains after.
Treasuries extended lower after the fed trimmed its bond purchases and altered its guidance.
The Dow, Nasdaq, and S&P waffled near unchanged before the fed and traded notably lower afterwards.
Among the big names making news in the market today were JPMorgan, Oracle, Alibaba, Toyota, and FedEx.
