The Metals:
Gold fell $10.39 to $1192.81 in Asia before it bounced back to $1202.28 in London, but it then dropped back to as low as $1193.12 by early afternoon in New York and ended with a loss of 0.67%. Silver slipped to as low as $16.16 and ended with a loss of 1.94%.
Euro gold rose to about €1122, platinum lost $9 to $1154, and copper remained at about $2.73.
Gold and silver equities meandered mostly lower and ended with modest losses.

Oil bounced back from yesterday’s near 7% losses.
The U.S. dollar rose and treasuries fell on renewed thoughts that the fed could still possibly raise the fed funds rate at its meeting in June.
The Dow, Nasdaq, and S&P waffled near unchanged and ended modestly higher on mixed earnings reports.
Among the big names making news in the market today were Apple, LinkedIn, GM, Credit Suisse, and Zynga.
