Gold dipped $3.21 to $1185.29 by a little after 8AM EST before it bounced back to $1193.22 in the next couple of hours of trade and then chopped back lower into midday, but it still ended with a gain of 0.1%. Silver rose to as high as $16.816 and ended with a gain of 0.18%.
Euro gold fell to about €1083, platinum lost $5 to $1108, and copper fell a few cents to about $2.74.
Gold and silver equities traded mostly slightly higher and ended mixed.

Next week’s economic highlights include Personal Income and Spending, Core PCE Prices, the ISM Index, and Construction Spending on Monday, Factory Orders on Tuesday, ADP Employment, the Trade Balance, ISM Services, and the fed’s Beige Book on Wednesday, Initial Jobless Claims, Productivity, and Unit Labor Costs on Thursday, and May’s jobs data and Consumer Credit on Friday.

Oil rose nearly 5% ahead of next week’s OPEC meeting.
