Gold climbed $18.41 to $1205.51 by late morning in New York before it pared back off a bit into midday, but it still ended with a gain of 1.26%. Silver rose to as high as $16.456 and ended with a gain of 0.19%.
Euro gold rose to about €1057, platinum remained at $1080, and copper remained at about $2.62.
Gold and silver equities rose about 2% at the open before they drifted back lower at times, but they still ended with over 1% gains.

Oil rose and the U.S. dollar fell along with treasuries on hopes for another bailout for Greece that sent the Dow, Nasdaq, and S&P about 1% higher.
Among the big names making news in the market today were Apple, Fitbit, Oracle, and UBS.
