The Metals:

 

Gold fell $13.85 to $1131.25 by late morning in New York before it bounced back higher in early afternoon trade, but it still ended with a loss of 0.98%.  Silver slipped to as low as $14.855 and ended with a loss of 0.8%.

 

Euro gold fell to about €1046, platinum lost $9 to $998, and copper dropped a couple of cents to about $2.50.

 

Gold and silver equities fell throughout most of trade and ended with about 5% losses.

Oil ended slightly lower as the U.S. dollar index edged higher on the view that the fed is getting closer to raising interest rates.

 

Treasuries rose as the Dow, Nasdaq, and S&P traded mixed on uncertainty about upcoming earnings reports.
