Gold fell $11 to $1106.70 in early afternoon New York trade before it bounced back higher in the last couple of hours of the day, but it still ended with a loss of 0.91%. Silver slipped to as low as $15.08 and ended with a loss of 1.31%.
Euro gold remained at about €1020, platinum lost $8 to $953, and copper fell a couple of cents to about $2.32.
Gold and silver equities fell throughout most of trade and ended with about 2% losses.

Oil fell over 3% on rising inventories.
The U.S. dollar index rose and treasuries saw slight losses along with the Dow, Nasdaq, and S&P on decent economic data that raised concerns about rising interest rates.
Among the big names making news in the market today were Time Warner, Avon, Groupon, VW, and Bitcoin.
