The Metals:
Gold fell $20.38 to $1278.02 in London before it bounced back higher in New York, but it still ended with a loss of 0.64%. Silver spiked up to $17.625 by a little before 4AM EST before it dropped back to $17.289 in the next four hours of trade, but it then chopped back higher into the close and ended with a gain of 0.23%.
Euro gold fell to about €1141, platinum gained $16 to $984, and copper climbed 4 cents to about $2.09.
Gold and silver equities fell about 3% in the first fifteen minutes of trade, but they then rallied back higher for the rest of the day and ended near unchanged on the day.

Oil rose almost 3% as the U.S. dollar index dropped along with treasuries while the Dow, Nasdaq, and S&P gained nearly 1% on rising optimism that Britain will vote to remain in the EU on Thursday.
Among the big names making news in the market today were Wal-Mart, Bellus Health, Apple, and Yelp.
