The Metals:

 

Gold gained $3.99 to $1317.29 in Asia before it fell to see a slight loss at $1312.36 at about 9:30AM EST, but it then bounced back higher in the next couple of hours of trade and ended with a gain of 0.1%.  Silver rose to as high as $19.266 and ended with a gain of 0.37%.

 

Euro gold rose to about €1178, platinum gained $9 to $1028, and copper stayed at about $2.16.

 

Gold and silver equities waffled near unchanged and ended mixed.

Oil, the U.S. dollar index, and treasuries all edged higher along with the Dow, Nasdaq, and S&P ahead of tomorrow’s central bank announcements.
