Gold fell $8.23 to $1294.67 in Asia before it rallied back to $1305.65 at about 9AM EST and then chopped back lower at times, but it still ended with a gain of 0.1%. Silver rose to as high as $18.465 and ended with a gain of 0.27%.
Euro gold fell to about €1171, platinum gained $2 to $994, and copper climbed a couple of cents to about $2.27.
Gold and silver equities waffled near unchanged and ended slightly lower.
The BLS net birth/death adjustment added 197,000 payrolls to October’s data. Private Payrolls rose 142,000.

Oil fell over 1% on further doubts about the ability to come to a production deal.
The U.S. dollar index dropped and treasuries rose on continued political uncertainty that sent the Dow, Nasdaq, and S&P lower again.
Among the big names making news in the market Friday were Dow-DuPont, Tronc, Samsung, Wal-Mart, and GoPro.
