The Metals:
Gold saw slight gains in Asia before it dropped back to $1285.40 in London and then rebounded in New York, but it ended with a gain of just 0.05%. Silver chopped between $16.325 and $16.489 and ended with a gain of 0.43%.
Euro gold rose above €1094, platinum gained $2 to $888, and copper climbed a penny to about $3.08.
Gold and silver equities drifted lower and ended with modest losses.
The Economy:

There are no major economic reports due out tomorrow.
The Markets:
Oil erased early gains and ended unchanged on easing concerns about Iran.
The U.S. dollar index found slight gains and treasuries fell on steady economic data that sent interest rates higher and the Dow, Nasdaq, and S&P slightly lower.
Among the big names making news in the market today were AIG, Wells Fargo, Cisco, Walmart, and J.C. Penney.
