The Metals:
Gold fell $10.90 to $1254.90 by a little after 8AM EST before it bounced back higher in New York, but it still ended with a loss of 0.55%. Silver slipped to as low as $16.148 and ended with a loss of 0.31%.
Euro gold fell to about €1081, platinum gained $0.50 to $865, and copper climbed a penny to about $3.00.
Gold and silver equities dropped over 1% in the first hour of trade before they rallied back higher into midday, but they still ended with slight losses on the day.

Tomorrow brings Durable goods orders, Core capex orders, Advance trade in goods, and Pending home sales.
The Markets:
Oil jumped nearly 4% after The Wall Street Journal reported that the U.S. expects all countries to cut all oil imports from Iran by November 4th or risk sanctions.
The U.S. dollar index rose and treasuries fell as the Dow, Nasdaq, and S&P bounced back from yesterday’s losses.
Among the big names making news in the market today were Lennar, American Express, Uber, Harley-Davidson, and GE.
