The Metals:
Gold dipped $2.60 to $1210.90 in Asia before it bounced back to $1217.20 in London and then dropped back lower in New York, but it ended with a loss of just 0.12%. Silver chopped between $15.367 and $15.503 and ended with a gain of 0.13%.
Euro gold rose above €1051, platinum gained $7.50 to $836.50, and copper climbed a penny to about $2.75.
Gold and silver equities waffled near unchanged and ended mixed.
The Economy:

Tomorrow brings CPI and the Federal budget.
The Markets:
The U.S. dollar index rose as the ruble fell markedly after a “draft Senate bill proposing tough new sanctions for Russia’s role in interfering in the 2016 U.S. presidential election was published Wednesday by local Russian newspaper The Kommersant.”
Oil edged lower on continued concerns about a trade war that sent treasuries higher and held the Dow, Nasdaq, and S&P near unchanged.
Among the big names making news in the market today were Yelp, Spotify, Maersk, Samsung, GM, Comcast, Tribune, and Booking Holdings.
